Fishing Seasons & Adventures

We offer different fishing experiences throughout the year:

March – April: Arctic ice fishing camps for brown trout and Arctic char.
May – Early June: Coastal sea trout fishing adventures.
May – June & August – October: Wilderness lake fishing for brown trout and Arctic char.
June – July: Pink salmon fishing opportunities, subject to local regulations.
July – August: Guided Atlantic salmon fishing. Limited guiding days are available for just a few weeks each season.

Sea trout fishing along the Arctic coastline is all about understanding the tides, the conditions, and the movement of the fish.

Our fishing days are planned around the tides to give you the best possible opportunities for a successful and enjoyable day.

Best fishing season: May to early June.

This is a wonderful time to explore the Alta region, with long Arctic days, beautiful spring scenery, and exciting sea trout fishing opportunities.

Guided Sea Trout Fishing – Prices

€650–€750 per day

Your guided fishing adventure includes:

8 hours of professional fishing guiding
Local knowledge of coastal fishing locations
Food during the fishing day
Required fishing licenses, where applicable
Fishing equipment, including fly fishing or spinning gear
